Having abandoned attempts to wrap Hannah, she escaped each and every time, I was struggling with a lack of sleep when, thanks to Hip Little Bubba, I was given the opportunity to trial the Miracle Blanket.

What a difference it’s made, I now have a baby who almost always sleeps through the night and has long leisurely naps during the day.  She’s a different baby, so content and I’m loving it!  I take the blanket  everywhere, we’ve used it on holiday’s, at grandma’s house and in the pram when out and about.

It did take a couple of attempts to get used to wrapping her tightly but once familiar with the flaps and pocket it’s easy to use.  The miracle blanket has been through the wash several times now, with whites in a hot wash and colours in warm, it’s come out perfect each time –it’s kept it’s shape and hasn’t shrunk.  I’ve dried it on the washing line and in the tumble drier (a necessity when rushing it through before bed) the blanket has stayed beautifully soft.

I can’t recommend the miracle blanket highly enough, I only wish I’d know about it for my first two children.

I came across this product after our first family holiday and the trials and tribulations of travelling with a baby.

When staying at a hotel in Thailand on holidays last year (our first family holiday after the birth of my son), my little boy would wake up very early unless all the light was blocked out from the room. We were wrapping towels and duvets round the curtain rail, just to try and make the room a little bit darker, anything to get some more sleep! I wish I had known about the Gro Anywhere back then!

The Gro Anywhere Blackout Blind from the Gro Company is a really great idea – it’s basically a universal blackout blind that you can put on any window.

The blackout blind is made from a dark, light-weight material, and there are suction caps around the edge to stick to your window. The blind is very big, so would probably fit on just about any window. It’s also adjustable, with tabs you can pull to make sure that it fits your window well.
